Portfolio - Outcomes

Am I or I am? interrogates the emotional imprint of space, revealing how architecture can embody, amplify, or soothe internal states like anxiety, fear, and disgust. Rooted in personal experiences with panic attacks and autoimmune illness, this work investigates how sensory triggers, particularly sight and touch, can either heighten emotional tension or offer relief.

This work explores the human tendency to externalise internal discomfort into the physical world, and vice versa. Architecture becomes a psychological landscape, and the viewer becomes both inhabitant and subject. The title encapsulates the core question: Are we defined by our environment, or do we impose identity upon it? This is not just an exhibit, it is a tactile, visual, and emotional encounter designed to confront and comfort simultaneously.
